Driver’s lucky escape when vehicle rolls

A man walked away without any serious injuries after he allegedly lost control of his vehicle and it rolled on the N12 in Westonaria.

Shawn Herbst, Netcare 911 spokesperson said at about 2.20pm on Saturday, 6 April they responded to reports of a crash near the Randfontein turn-off in Westonaria.

“Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control resulting in a rollover. One person was assessed on scene by medics and found to be in a stable condition. The patient, however, declined ambulance transportation to hospital.”
