Be Enchanted Salon in Greenhills showed they are fully behind local singing sensation Linda Killian who aims to make a name for herself abroad.
Hannetjie du Plessis, the owner of Be Enchanted said she is always happy to support fellow Randfonteiners. The singer performed at the salon on Saturday, 30 March where it was revealed that Linda is aiming to tour Sweden this year.
She is currently recording songs and sending it to Sweden to be mixed and mastered, and she signed with Benny Anderson and Björn Ulvafeus who used to be members of the pop group ABBA. Her latest songs have been released in Europe and will soon be available in South Africa.
The 40-year-old singer’s song, I will never fight again, is among the Top 20 finalists in the 2019 AfriMusic Song Contest. This is one of Africa’s biggest music contests and Linda hopes to make Randfontein proud.
“Please vote for me to stay in the competition. You can vote up to 200 times a day until Friday, 12 April. I have never been anywhere interesting in my life and if I win, I will tour in Portugal with Eurovision,” she said.
