On the font page of this edition, the Herald announced the then town clerk’s plans for Westonaria’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

Cathy Donaldson, a SA Blind Workers Organisation member at the time, was involved in the festivities. The Herald managed to track her down and asked her to tell us what she remembers about the celebration in 1987.
