Connies focus on residents’ health

Residents of the Connie Mulder Centre held their first-ever health-awareness day on Wednesday.

Connie Mulder Centre held its first-ever health-awareness day on Wednesday, 27 March.

According to Gordon Henney, chief executive officer, residents do get the medical care they need but a big health-awareness day like this helps them to make sure everyone is in perfect shape and to get them the help they need if they are not in such good shape.

Staff members of Randgate Clinic and committee members of Pillar of Strength handled the tests, counselling and awareness campaign.

There were different stations for all the different tests and the loud music kept residents entertained while they waited in queues.
