Early morning crash leaves two injured

Two vehicles collided in Carletonville earlier this morning leaving two people injured.

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Annan Road in Carletonville on Wednesday morning (20 February).

Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson said, “ER24 paramedics along with another service arrived on scene at about 6.30am and found the two vehicles on the side of the road – one of them against a tree. The drivers of the two vehicles, a man and woman, were found walking around on the scene.

“Paramedics assessed the patients and found that they escaped with minor injuries only. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found. The patients were treated and thereafter transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.”

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
