The High School Career Expo is South Africa’s only national public exhibition that is designed to provide both primary school learners and prospective students with the necessary tools to succeed in their education.
The expo will be coming to the West Rand at Clearwater Mall in Roodepoort on Friday, 22 and Saturday, 23 February. Entrance to the expo is free so that everyone can get the opportunity to attend and make an informed decision regarding their education.
All primary school learners and their parents can learn more about public and private high schools, including special programmes. Tertiary institutions will also have their own exhibits to provide prospective students with information.
Information will be available regarding –
• Tertiary education providers and admission requirements
• Courses
• Career decision making
• Student loans
• Student accommodation and student transportation
• Career changes
• Bursaries and job opportunities
• Public and private high schools
• Extracurricular activities such as sports and music
Parents and learners can visit the expo as a group or individually. There will be inspirational talks, flash mobs, music and lots of other entertainment and prizes.
