Time running out for baby sanctuary

Just In Time Baby Sanctuary is desperately trying to raise funds to keep their doors open.

The Just In Time Baby Sanctuary in Greenhills only has until the end of February to come up with much-needed funds if they want to keep their doors open.

Just In Time Baby Sanctuary is a registered non-profit organisation that looks after abandoned, abused and neglected babies.

Georgina Caetano, the founder of Just In Time, said in a statement last week, “We are a foster home and place of safety to nine children ranging in age from newborn to 4 years old.

Furthermore, we support five moms and their families by employing them.

“All of them stand to lose their home, their security and their jobs if we cannot find a new rental donor or a new home. Until recently, our rent has been sponsored. Unfortunately our donor can no longer afford to support us. The house is being sold. We may stay on as long as we pay the rent or purchase the home.

“In addition to having to struggle to meet our monthly expenses of R30 000, we must now find an additional R12 000 per month to cover our rent. We have less than a month to come up with the funds and need assistance, please.”

Contact Georgina on 062 045 8219 if you are willing and able to assist them.
