Get to know a ‘Teiner’ #98 – Siyabulela Ziqula
The 98th person in the Herald’s Get to know a Randfonteiner project introduces himself.
Meet our ‘Teiner’ of the week, Siyabulela Ziqula of Toekomsrus, who is one of the top bakers in the area.
Siyabulela, 39, is originally from Port Elizabeth but has been living in Toekies for the past 15 years where he is currently a manager at the Bread Pit Bakery.
“I love this community because everyone is so close. My biggest passion in life is baking and my goal in life is to someday own my own bakery. I fell in love with baking because my mother was also a baker,” he said.
He has been baking for most of his life, but it is not his only interest.
“I love sports, especially boxing,” he added.
