Meet our ‘Teiner’ of the week, 60-year-old Venetia Adams of Toekomsrus, who wants nothing more than to see people in the community taken care of.
“Especially the youth who are unemployed, and the neglected elderly in the community,” she said.
At her age, Venetia, said nothing makes her happier than to assist others.
“This is something that is very close to my heart. I always try my utmost to reach out to people who are in need or vulnerable.”
Venetia told the Herald that in many of the projects she is involved in, she helps the youth by printing and delivering their CVs.
“It’s important for the youth to earn a living,” she said.
One of her dreams is to get sponsors, which will enable her to expand the service she offers.
