Four injured in three-vehicle crash

Friday night crash in Carletonville between three vehicles left four people injured.

Four people were injured following a three-vehicle crash on Van Zyl Road in Carletonville during the evening of Friday, 25 January.

Russel Meiring, the ER24 spokesperson, said ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene before 9pm to find one vehicle on the side of the road while two others were found in the road. Several people were found walking around on the scene.

“Paramedics assessed the patients and found that four people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.

“The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to Leslie Williams Private Hospital for further care.”

The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
