Karin Mienie is fierce and talented, and she’s a learner at Westonaria High School.
Karin did a great job at representing the school at the Allegretto Eisteddfod in 2018.
“Her winning performance was a monologue of Krismis of Map Jacobs by Adam Small,” Petru Mienie of the School Governing Body said. Petru is also Karin’s mother.
Karen won the Regional Eisteddfod in Roodepoort on 18 May and continued her winning streak at the Provincial Eisteddfod on 24 August in Benoni.
“Karin was invited to the prestigious gala evening of Allegretto Eisteddfod on 13 October. She performed at the event, where she was announced as the overall Monologue winner and received a certificate and a trophy.”
She also participated in Talent Africa 2018 and received a silver medal for her performance. Karin performed four items at RACA 2018 and received two Diamond and two Platinum certificates. She will be taking part in the Talent Africa 2019.
“The school congratulated her on her achievements and wished her the best of luck for the future,” her mother added.
