R’fontein prays for bullying, human trafficking to end

Prayer rally held at the AGS Kerk in Middelvlei during the weekend against bullying among children and human trafficking in Randfontein and whole of South Africa.

On Sunday, 20 January, the Muscle 4 Jesus Ministry held a prayer rally at the AGS Kerk in Middelvlei against bullying among children and human trafficking, not just in Randfontein, but the whole of South Africa.

Braam Venter of the ministry and coordinator of the rally, said with the escalating number of bullying incidents and those of human trafficking reported, the ministry saw it fit to pray for a change in society.

“The main purpose of this was to tell the public about what was happening in this country through this campaign. In the session, we also gave the people percentages and the statistics so that they can have a clear picture to see how big the problem is,” Braam said.

Venter said that if people know what is happening to their children, they would put measures in place to prevent the vicious cycle of bullying, which in turn will ultimately curb the issue.

“In order to illustrate the point we wanted to make, we had strong man tricks and a bit of magic, just to show people how Jesus is important in overcoming all the challenges we may face. At the same time, we are doing this serving the Lord.”
