Randfontein Police runs back-to-school campaign

The local police supported learners by bringing their services to the Westcol campus premises.

The Randfontein Police along with other stakeholders led a back-to-school programme at Randfontein’s Westcol campus on Thursday, 10 January.

Other stakeholders involved were the police’s social crime prevention unit and communication department, and representatives from the Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs.

Randfontein Police bring services closer to the students of Westcol as it reopens.

Constable Carmen Hendricks, a Randfontein Police spokesperson said, “The purpose of the campaign was to assist with certifying of documents, monitor and give support to the students for the re-opening of schools and to encourage learners to prioritise education and strive to achieve higher marks in their studies.”
