Police distribute 600 pamphlets in CBD

Randfontein Police along with other stakeholders educated the public on various social ills and crimes in the CBD area recently.

On Tuesday, 11 December, the Randfontein Police, along with other stakeholders, reached out to 200 people in the CBD area and handed out 600 pamphlets to educate the public on various social ills and crimes.

During the programme 600 pamphlets containing safety tips and other information were handed out.

These crimes include sexual offences, gender-based violence, domestic violence, house-breaking, human trafficking, and abuse of alcohol and other substances.

Joining hands with the local police was the Gauteng Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs (Cogta) as well as members of Rand West Public Safety.
