Bekkersdal cops end 16 of Activism campaign with walk

A total of 400 pamphlets relating to rape and sexual abuse, domestic violence, child care and neglect were distributed by Bekkersdal Police recently.

The Bekkersdal Police ended their 16 Days of Activism for no Violence against Women and Children campaign with a fun walk.

The walk was held from the Holomisa informal settlement sports grounds to Irvin Park under the theme ‘Not In My Name and Count Me In’.

According to Sergeant Linkie Lefakane, Bekkersdal Police spokesperson, a total of 400 pamphlets relating to rape and sexual abuse, domestic violence, child care and neglect were distributed.
