Six injured in two-vehicle crash

Carletonville crash leaves six injured early Monday morning.

Six people were left injured when two vehicles collided at the R500 and R501 intersection in Carletonville early on Monday morning, 10 December.

Russel Meiring, the ER24 spokesperson, said ER24 paramedics along with other services arrived on scene at 5.15am to find one vehicle on the centre median while the second was found in the road.

“Six people were found walking around on the scene. Paramedics assessed the patients and found that two women and four men had sustained moderate injuries.

Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene. 

“The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to a nearby private hospital for further treatment.”

He added that local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
