A man who had been reported missing was found dead near a club and entertainment venue in Aureus earlier this week.
According to Constable Carmen Hendricks, Randfontein Police spokesperson, “Randfontein Police detectives are urging the public to come forward with any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect, as per hearsay, a fight broke out at a club in the area that is just around the corner from where the victim’s body was found.
“Early on Saturday morning, 1 December, the body of an unknown man was found with a stab wound to his body.
Emergency health practitioners were contacted and the victim was subsequently declared dead. The victim had no identification on him. The victim was reported missing the following day, but has since been identified by relatives.”
