South Africa is facing a lot of uncertainties regarding load shedding and power outages.
Eskom has implemented Stage 2 load shedding for five days in a row as a result of a shortage of capacity due to a number of generating units still being out of service due to breakdowns.

Marius Janse van Rensburg of the Rand West City Local Municipality’s electrical planning department gave some insightful tips on how to use electricity sparingly at home.
