Business meeting with eggs and bacon

More than 35 businesses in town got together to discuss business over bacon and eggs.

Representatives of 36 businesses in Randfontein attended the Randfontein Business Information Breakfast (Randbib) at Espresso la Vintage in Greenhills on Wednesday, 28 November.

According to Phoebe Nimmerhoudt, a Randbib committee member, the aim of the session was to help local businesses improve, learn ways to grow and reinvent their enterprises through new models.

“Our target audience was primarily people who had ideas and wanted to venture into business, or small and medium enterprises that are struggling to take their business to the next level,” Phoebe said.

She added the presentations provided pointers for existing businesses that are aiming at breaking through the market, to find new audiences.

“Basically we focused on three levels of businesses – those who have the ideas but do not know where to start; existing ones that are struggling with sustainablity; and those that need support to grow further,” Phoebe added.
