The Trio Krugersdorp Cluster team have outdone themselves again when they arrested three suspects shortly after their crime was committed.
Constable Carmen Hendricks, Randfontein Police spokesperson, said that these suspects were involved in a house robbery in Toekomsrus at about 3am on Monday, 12 November.
“It was alleged that the victim was at home sleeping when he heard a knock on the door. When he noticed a man that he knows entering his house through the bedroom window, he decided to get out of bed. Two other men who are also known to him kicked the kitchen door open and entered his house. When the victim refused to allow them to use drugs inside his house the two males took out firearms,” she said.

The suspects then took a clothing item and a cellphone, searched the victim’s pockets and took cash. The value of the items taken and the cash amount are unknown.
“The suspects were arrested and detained at Randfontein Police and are facing charges of house robbery. They will appear at the Randfontein Magistrates’ Court soon,” Hendricks added.
