Randfontein Police are searching for two men they said fatally shot a woman during an armed robbery in Zenzele during the weekend.
Carmen Hendricks, Randfontein Police spokesperson confirmed that two women were walking home in Masango Street shortly after midnight on Sunday, 4 November when they were approached by two men who pointed firearms at them.

“Their assailants searched them without saying a word and robbed them of their cellphones. One of the suspects shot one of the victims and they both fled. The victim was declared dead on the scene. It is not known if the surviving victim, a 34-year-old woman is able to identify the suspects.”
Hendricks added, “Randfontein Police Detectives are urging the community members to come forward with any information that could assist in bringing the perpetrators to book.”
