Randfontein Christian Academy annual play

There were singing and dancing, and much interaction from the audience.

The Randfontein Christian Academy (RCA) held its annual concert on Thursday, 1 November to retell the story of Christ.

Marelize Wijtenburg, coordinator of the concert said this year’s theme, God with Us portrayed the story of how Jesus Christ was sent to live among the masses.

“There were singing and dancing, and much interaction from the audience. Every child in the school, from the youngest to the oldest, had a role to play – whether they were animals or shepherds, we made sure that everyone had a part in the concert,” Marelize said.

She said the school intended to give every child the opportunity to showcase his or her own on-stage talent.

“The church members, the parents and everybody else truly enjoyed the concert. It was a magical night full of surprises,” Marelize said.
