Entries still open for Multicharity photo competition

The Multicharity charity shop's exciting photo competition to raise funds for charity is only ending at the end of November.

Multicharity is running an exciting photo competition for little children and their grandparents.

The aim is to raise funds for charity. These funds will be used to buy food and other necessities for underprivileged youth and the elderly.

The closing date for the entries was initially 31 October, but they have decided to keep the competition open for another month.

Monica Lancellas, who owns the Multicharity charity shop in Union Street in Randgate, invites all children under six years old and their grandmothers and grandfathers to enter the competition before the end of November.

“We decided not to set an age limit for the grandparents, as many fairly young people already have grandkids. As long as you have a grandchild, you are more than welcome to participate, even if your grandchild does not live in Randfontein,”she said.

Those who want to enter this competition must please send a head and shoulders photo that is not more than two months old to Monica, on 072 813 0192.

The entry fee is R30. Monica also asked for a donation of food to the value of R30 with each entry.
