A fight between two men turned fatal in Badirile, Brandvlei during the weekend.
Randfontein Police confirmed they are investigating a case of murder that was committed at about 3am on Saturday, 27 October.
Constable Carmen Hendricks, Randfontein Police spokesperson said, “Police received a complaint of a murder and upon arrival found a witness who pointed out the body of a man lying inside his yard. It was alleged the suspect had fought with the victim.

“The victim had multiple deep cuts to his head and was declared dead by medical health practitioners. The witness further alleged that before the male suspect left the scene, he said he would report the incident to the police; however nobody has seen him since. The suspect is known and has been on the run since the day of the incident.”
Hendricks urged the community to come forward with any information regarding the incident that could assist them to arrest the suspect.
