The Randfontein Police are on a manhunt after three thugs hijacked a 43-year-old man in Mohlakeng this past weekend.

At least three thugs played cat and mouse with their 43-year-old victim after they had hijacked him in Mohlakeng.

According to Constable Carmen Hendricks, Randfontein Police spokesperson, the man alleged he was hijacked at about 8.30pm in Thebenare Street on Saturday, 25 October.

“The complainant alleged that after leaving the tavern and walking to his motor vehicle – a white Toyota Tazz with registration number TMR829GP – he was approached by three men. One of them was armed. They ordered him to get into the back seat of his vehicle, which he shared with the armed assailant.
