Members of the Randfontein Police Social Crime Prevention Unit visited Tambotie Mall in Greenhills recently to raise awareness about certain crimes in the area.

Constable Carmen Hendricks, Randfontein Police spokesperson, said they went to speak to and inform car guards to be more vigilant in and around the area.

“Constable Portia Mabalawere told them to look out for theft of motor vehicles and theft out of motor vehicles, as these crimes are a big concern in Randfontein,” Hendricks said.

She added that the police want to join hands with them and that they should come forward with any information that can help the police in arresting perpetrators.
