A business robbery is being investigated by the Randfontein Police after five armed men robbed a business in Mohlakeng
According to Constable Carmen Hendricks, Randfontein Police spokesperson, the business robbery occurred on Thebenare Street, Mohlakeng on 25 October , at approximately 8am.
“A 36-year-old man alleged that he was inside his shop when five unknown men entered his shop. Four were armed with firearms and one with a knife. The victim was instructed to keep quiet or they would shoot him,” she said.
“The suspects ransacked the shop and took an unknown amount of cash, cigarettes and other stock from the shop. The suspects then fled the scene on foot. No shots were fired and no one was injured,” Hendricks said.
