A 67-year-old man was stabbed during an early morning home invasion in Dwarskloof last week.
It is alleged the victim was sleeping when his wife alerted him to the three invaders in their home.
“They were armed with a crowbar and steel pipe. The intruders demanded money and firearms from the victim. He gave them the cash but they also got away with other valuable items including jewellery,” said Constable Carmen Hendricks, Randfontein Police spokesperson.
Hendricks added that the couple had to receive medical treatment.
