The Methodist Church of South Africa will raise funds through a Family Health Walk and Run at 116 Main Reef Road in Randfontein on Saturday, 1 December.
Micheal Sebopa, coordinator of the event, said it aims at promoting a healthy life style and helping to reduce the impact of the HIV/Aids pandemic in the community.
“We sincerely appeal for sponsorship or donations for refreshments during and after the fun run and walk, and printed T-shirts, caps and medals for participants,” Micheal said.
Registration will be between 5am and 6.30am and the programme will start at 7am.
