Get to know a ‘Teiner’ #82 Brumilda Morris

The 82nd person in the Herald’s Get to know a Randfonteiner project introduces herself.

Meet our Teiner of the week, Brumilda Morris, 26, of Toekomsrus, who said she wants to see the children in her community lead better lives and become better leaders of tomorrow.

Brumilda, a lover of children, said she has passion for developing children, and would love to do more in order to ensure that all children are protected and nurtured the right way.

“As I am now working at Women Against Woman and Children Abuse (Wawa) as a social worker for children, I am helping to ensure that all the children who may need our help are able to reach us. This what I love to do, because I believe I am making a difference in the lives of many young ones,” said Brumilda.

Brumilda also said her ultimate dream is to become a teacher in her community, “I think if I can help children in my area to learn, that will be the beginning of a better society. One of the things that I want to instill in the children in this area is the culture of reading,” Brumilda said.
