Four murder suspects still at large

Westonaria Police said that they are looking for four suspects who allegedly stabbed and murdered a 33-year-old man.

The police are looking for four murder suspects after their victim died of his injuries.

Warrant Officer Raymond Sebonyane, spokesperson for the Westonaria Police, said that they are looking for four suspects who allegedly stabbed and murdered a 33-year-old man.

The Westonaria Police came across a man lying in the street and bleeding heavily on 25 August at about 7.34 pm. He had sustained a stab wound in the upper body which caused his death.

“It is alleged that the victim and another man were walking from Westonaria town to Borwa when they were approached by four unknown men. The other man managed to escape the assault but the victim was stabbed with an unknown object,” Sebonyane said.

A case docket of assault was opened by the police but it turned into a murder case when the victim died in the hospital as a result of his injuries.

“The Westonaria Police are appealing to the community to come forward with information that might assist in the investigation,” he added.
