Big show for abandoned babies

The Barnyard Theatre at Silverstar will soon host a new live production, the Nineties vs. Noughties – When Two Decades Collide show, with the Just In Time Baby Sanctuary as the beneficiary.

The Barnyard Theatre at Silverstar will soon host a new live production called Nineties vs Noughties – When Two Decades Collide, with the Just In Time Baby Sanctuary as the beneficiary.

Just In Time Baby Sanctuary is a registered non-profit organisation that looks after abandoned, abused and neglected babies. Georgina Caetano, the founder, organises fundraisers for her charity on a regular basis, but this one promises to be spectacular.

“Following the success of our Barnyard Theatre fundraiser last year, we are happy to announce we have booked the Silverstar venue for 7.30pm on Wednesday, 24 October, for the Nineties vs Noughties – When Two Decades Collide show,” Georgina said.

The show is a musical roller coaster of hit songs – featuring a talented 10-piece cast who revive pop and rock icons from both decades. The 90s was the era of compact disc players, the Sony Walkman and vinyl records, while the 2000s marked the rise of the internet Media Player, iTunes, and YouTube. The 90s was the decade of U2, Robbie Williams, Celine Dion, UB40, Ricky Martin and Roxette to name but a few, whereas Coldplay, Katy Perry, Shakira, The Black Eyed Peas, Kings Of Leon, Pink and many more are icons of the 2000s.

This show is an exhilarating ride through two decades of non-stop hits. Whether you’re a fan of the 1990s or the 2000s – you are bound to be rocked, dance till you drop, sing out loud and be proud of the decade you love most!

The charity recently announced that their co-host for this year’s Barnyard fundraiser is Ram Hand to Hand Couriers.

“Thank you, David and Lulu Pretorius. We look forward to another great evening and huge success in aid of our children,” she added.
