Randfontein on its knees

The town came together in prayer during the weekend in hope to rid Randfontein of all things dark and evil.

Betesda Ministries held its 16th Prayer Rally on Sunday, 19 August to pray for Randfontein.

“The main aim of our prayer rally is to get the children of God together, because the Bible says we have the authority and we must take care of what the Lord has put in our hands,” Danie Henning said.

He said the goals are to honour God our Father and praise the Lord Jesus Christ; mobilise the children of God to pray for Randfontein; unite the body of Christ and give the freedom of Randfontein to the Lord Jesus Christ. Danie said the rally will help to rid Randfontein of all things dark and evil.

Tomas Maphosa prays during the 16th Prayer Rally at Betesda Ministries.

He said through the prayer rallies the community can honour God, and towns and cities will achieve the freedom they deserve.

“God is the creator of heaven and Earth, the Saviour of all of us. We were created to worship Him. The soul of mankind, our country and the Earth are polluted by sin. The only way to fix things is to restore God’s dignity and authority, and to give Jesus, the King of kings, free entrance to our town, churches, homes, hearts and minds, and close all the entrances to sin and the forces of darkness,” Danie said.

Other Prayer Rallies are to be held on Sunday 16 September (Jesus is Lord Christian Centre), Sunday, 21 October (AFM Sanctuary Toekomsrus) and Sunday 18 November (AGS Middelvlei).
