The Woord en Lig Church held an award ceremony on Sunday, 5 August, during which two big awards were presented.
Letzi Lottering, a member of the church was honoured by the Comenzo Randfontein Branch for making strides in developing music and discovering raw singing talent in the community of Randfontein.
The church itself received an award from the Regional Manager of the branches for serving the town and for the exceptional work the church is doing to uplift the community through school projects. Magon Muton accepted the award on behalf of the church.
“The Comenzo Randfontein Branch is very proud of this award and wants to carry on supporting our schools and our teachers in the community,” said Pastor Obri, Pastor of the church.
