Rand View celebrates its top academic performers

Learners needed to achieve more than 70 per cent in a subject to receive an award.

The Rand View College believes that a strong foundation in education is the secret to success.

They recently awarded the top academic performers in Grades 1 to 12 by giving them a special certificate during a special award ceremony. Learners needed to achieve more than 70 per cent in a subject to receive an award.

“Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today,” James Phalazi, Head of Curriculum, said.

“We congratulated our learners on their achievements in the June Provincial and District examinations in the core subjects in all our grades,” he said.

He said that an award ceremony is the faculty’s way of showing its appreciation to the learners who showed unquestionable effort in their school work.

“Ramadhan Mijumbi, Director of the school, as well as the entire faculty of Rand View College sincerely salutes all learners who achieved distinctions or did the best in a subject. We hope they continue pursuing success,” James added.
