Another rally for near-drowning victim Tristan

The Tristan Angel Trust is now left with R32 000 and the community is needed once more to come help raise funds for Tristan's stem cell transplant through supporting the Rally 4 Tristan on 25 August.

The community’s help is once again needed to raise funds for young Tristan Sellwig.

Tristan suffered brain trauma during a near drowning episode on 9 November 2014. Due to Tristan being so young and receiving the correct rehabilitation and treatment, he is on the road to reaching all the milestones of a child his age. Tristan underwent a stem-cell transplant in Mumbai in India, which was performed by Dr Alok Sharma.

The Tristan Angel Trust is now left with R32 000 and the community is needed once more to help raise funds for Tristan’s next stem-cell transplant through the Rally 4 Tristan on 25 August at 10am, at 12 Lourie Street in Greenhills.

Sponsors for the following are needed: Rolls, soft drinks, boerewors and beers. Those who cannot assist with the items can make cash donations.

For more information, contact Tristan’s father, Paul Sellwig on 083 963 2095.

“We are also looking to anyone who can sponsor prizes for the bikers,” Sellwig said.
