Barkzz Foundation fights for the disabled

The organisation will be at Simunye Sport Grounds from 10am to 2pm on 27 October

The Barkzz Foundation, an Alexandra-based NGO that was established in 2015, with the aim of championing the social integration of people with disabilities will be at the Simunye Sports Grounds in Westonaria on 27 October, from 10am to 2pm.

Lloyd Lehlogonolo Babedi (DJ Barkzz), the founder of the organisation, said its values are driven by the core belief that a ‘disability’ is not an ‘inability’, and that this message will be brought to the disabled community in order to empower them.

“People with physical challenges have as much potential to contribute to society as physically enabled people,” DJ Barkkz said.
