A woman was raped during a home invasion in the Fochville area during the weekend.
According to Constable Elsie Tshonte, Fochville Police spokesperson, “Three men forced entry to the house in Kokosi, Fochville just as the victim was about to enter the house.
“They covered her face and forced her inside. While inside the house, one of the intruders raped her. The robbers then took a TV, music system, clothes, shoes, cash, cellphone and a vehicle.”

Four days later, members of the West Rand Trio Task team managed to arrest three suspects aged 24, 29 and 38.
They will face charges of house robbery, rape and theft of a motor vehicle.
