A public hearing on land expropriation is currently taking place at a packed City Hall in Westonaria.
The Constitutional Review Committee has set its sights on the West Rand for public hearings about a possible amendment of section 25 of the Constitution to allow expropriation without compensation. The proposed target groups are land/property owners, Community Property Associations, farm owners and youth and children formations.
