Get to know a ‘Teiner #72 – Lindy Maseko

The 72nd person in the Herald’s Get to know a Randfonteiner project introduces herself.

It has been only five years since she officially became a Randfonteiner, but 32-year-old Lindy Maseko is not going anywhere soon.

Hailing from Ermelo in Mpumalanga, the businesswoman from Greenhills said there are many things she has grown to love about Randfontein, the town where she is also raising her family.

Lindy, who runs a car sales business with her husband, said she left her career in Media Studies at the University of Johannesburg for a business venture.

“Since my husband was in the business of selling cars, I also became interested. I took the opportunity to learn from him,” Lindy said. She said since then, selling cars has become her passion.

Asked what she loved doing to relax, Lindy said she loves travelling, reading and attending art exhibitions.

“I also love taking my family on outings. Since I am from Mpumalanga, I like travelling. When I relax, I like watching a bit of television,” Lindy added.
