Get to know a ‘Teiner’ #69 – Botiki Phalalo

The 69th person in the Herald’s Get to know a Randfonteiner project introduces himself.

On Tuesday, 19 June, the Herald met Botiki Phalalo, our #Teiner 69.

Botiki, 40, works for the South African Post Office.

You can see him in the streets every day, on his bicycle, delivering postal items all over Randfontein.

Although he is originally from Randfontein, Botiki currently lives in Kagiso with his son, Oratile. Like any proud father, Botiki smiles broadly when he mentions his son.

“My hobbies are watching soccer and TV,” Botiki said.

He also loves to cook and play chef in the kitchen.

Working for the Post Office is a fast-paced job, so Botiki had to speed off to do his deliveries on his red bicycle as soon as he finished introducing himself.
