Manhunt launched for garage robbery suspects

The police have the community not to approach the two suspects allegedly involved in a garage robbery as they are deemed armed and dangerous.

A person was attacked by two men at the Caltex Garage in Bridges Avenue on 3 June.

The West Rand Trio Task Team unit is on the hunt for the two suspects who are believed to be involved in the robbery.

It is alleged that one suspect was armed and the other demanded money from the victim. Both suspects fled the scene and it’s still unclear how much money they stole.

The case docket was opened at the Westonaria Police Station, and the victim was able to identify the suspects by means of ID kit pictures.

One suspect is believed to be approximately 24 years old, about 1,75m tall, slender with a coffee-coloured complexion. The second suspect is also alleged to be approximately 24 years old, about 1,65m tall, slender, and light in complexion,

Both suspects were speaking isiZulu.
