This play was written during the Apartheid era, as a form of protest theatre, which was confrontational. It brought up the sensitive subjects of Apartheid, such as inequality. The play was written by Mbongeni Ngema, Barney Simon and Percy Mtwa. It touches on a lot of sensitive issues which need addressing. • 1 June: Just in Time Golf Day in Robinson, Randfontein

This year marks the 16th Magalies Monster MTB Classic. The FNB Magalies Monster routes provide all the hallmarks of a truly South African mountain bike race, featuring all the ingredients that a quality mountain bike race should have. The FNB Magalies Monster is ideal for all mountain bikers. Entrants can choose between a 15km Fun Ride, the 35km “Half Monster” and the 70km “Ultimate Monster”. The event is affectionately named after the “Monster”, a gruelling 6km climb up the northern slope of the Magaliesberg which riders of the 70km route encounter.
