Four injured when vehicle crashes into tree

Four people were injured when a vehicle crashed into tree in Carletonville during the weekend.

Four people were injured – one of them seriously – when a vehicle crashed into tree on Reinecke Street in Carletonville on Saturday night, 26 May.

“ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after 10pm and found a 24-year-old woman trapped in the vehicle. The fire brigade had to use the Jaws of Life to release her,” said ER24’s spokesperson, Ineke van Huyssteen.

Van Huyssten went on to say that the woman was found to be in a serious condition. “The ER24 Oneplan helicopter airlifted her to hospital for further medical care and the rest of the patients were transported to hospital by the provincial EMS,” Huyssten added.
