A male pedestrian in his 30s was hit and killed by a vehicle on the N12 in Zuurbekom, Westonaria early on the morning of Thursday, 24 May.
Ineke van Huyssteen, ER24 spokesperson said, “When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly before 6.30am, they found a man lying next to the road.

“Upon further assessment, they found that the man had sustained fatal injuries. He was declared dead at the scene by ER24.”
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to the paramedics, but the police were on the scene for further investigations.
