Get to know a ‘Teiner # 64 – Asanda Hanxa

The 64th person in the Herald's Get to know a Randfonteiner project introduces himself.

Meet Asanda Hanxa, a 24-year-old resident of Greenhills, who says he has never quit anything in life, because he believes that everything is forever within his grasp and nothing can stop him from reaching his dreams.

Asanda said that while growing up, he was taught to be a go-getter, a value that is deeply rooted in his family tradition. He was taught that nothing is impossible.

“I always make sure that I go after and achieve everything I want, without fail. This has made me who I am today, as I am quite strong and always driven to achieve my goals,” he said.

Asanda said even when he was at school, he made sure that he held his own.

“Every day I sharpen my skills with the expansive knowledge I get from various books. I believe that when you are still young, you should invest your time in building yourself.”

Asanda also takes time to play soccer with his mates during weekends. He said is still exploring how he can be the best he can, and enjoying life.

“I appreciate all the experiences I’ve had so far, I appreciate everyone I have lived with, and the people I share my life with every day,” Asanda concluded.
