The next monthly U3A West Rand meeting will be held at 9.15am at the NG Kerk Wilgespruit on the corner of Mimosa and Wag-‘n-Bietjie Streets in Wilropark on Tuesday, 8 May.
The speaker will be Neil van Jaarsveld, an experienced personal trainer. He will discuss exercise in the third age.
The aim of U3A West Rand is to bring pensioners together to meet people of their own age with similar interests and to form new friendships.
“We invite all retirees to join the U3A West Rand for monthly gatherings where they listen to stimulating talks by knowledgeable people,” said Marthie Coetzer.
The next meeting for U3A West Rand members is scheduled to take place on 16 May at the Verandah Restaurant just off Shannon Road in Krugersdorp.
