Bridal expo for those about to get married

Engaged couples had lots to pick and choose from at a recent Bridal Expo held in Greenhills.

It was a scene like no other, when the prospective grooms and brides of Randfontein enjoyed feasting their eyes on what their nuptials could be like.

An exhibition was held on Saturday, 28 April, at Greenhills Stadium by the Yoram Group, an event-based company that provided a one-stop-shop for all to get a taste of what they may need on their big day.

The exhibition was held on Saturday, 28 April, at Greenhills Stadium by the Yoram Group.

“We are also creating a platform for our local cake bakers, wedding designers and anything that is related to weddings. This is a platform for them to market their businesses under one roof,” said the CEO of the Yoram Group, Itebogeng Saya.

Itebogeng also said people were given tips on weddings and marriage by celebrity guests such as Lindani Nkosi, who was among the VIP guests to speak about their own marriages.

She said the exhibition had a good reception from locals, and some who came from far off places such as Vanderbijlpark.

“We have had many people coming in to look at the exhibitors’ work,” she said.

Itebogeng said the exhibition was brought closer to home to benefit those who often have to travel a long way to see such exhibits, and that people could learn a lot from the Expo.
