Young model takes her beauty abroad

A total of R100 000 is needed to help the young model get to the US.

An opportunity of a lifetime awaits a young model, Keamogetswe Lebotse (aka ‘Kea’) from Westonaria, who will be representing South Africa in the USA in June this year.

The only thing standing in her way is a lack of funds – she needs to raise R100 000. Kea said she is looking for a sponsorship that will pay for her flights, accommodation, outfits and make-up.

“This is not a cheap journey,” Kea admitted, “but it is a big opportunity for me”.

Keamogetswe started modelling at the age of seven and has won numerous titles. In addition, she has a diploma in pageantry that enables her to teach modelling. Armed with this diploma and her passion for giving back to the community, she recently started King Kea Promotions to help our young men and women find a positive outlet instead of loitering on the streets. King Kea hosted the first-ever Mr/ Miss Glenharvie competition which involved members of the community from the age of three to plus-size models.

She said those who are willing to sponsor her venture can contact her on 079 998 5947 or via email to keamogetswelebotse2018@gmail.com.

People can also SMS “KEA2018” to 41071 to donate R25 per SMS.
