U3A invites residents to join in on their events
All elderly residents are invited to join U3A.
The next meeting of the U3A West Rand will take place at the NG Kerk Wilgespruit, on the corner of Mimosa and Wag-‘n-Bietjie Streets in Wilro Park at 9.15 am on 10 April.
“Come and join us for a cup of coffee or tea and biscuits at R5 per cup, register as a member for R70 per annum, listen to a monthly talk on a variety of interesting subjects, and come with us when we go for lunch or on an exciting outing,” said Marthie Coetzer from U3A.
All elderly residents are invited to join U3A.
You can also join a variety of interest groups. For more information about the groups, contact Moira Scott at 0827482355.
The speaker on 18 April will be Phillipe Manache, on Church Tourism in South Africa.
On 18 April, the U3A West Rand will pay a visit to the Northwards mansion in Parktown. The curator, Dr Viljoen, will be the tour guide through this historic house, which was designed by Herbert Baker, and built by Dale Lace for his wife José.
